Overview

Vesper Colors is a free color accessibility tool available on iOS, macOS, and the web. It lets you check any foreground and background color pair against WCAG 2.2 AA and AAA contrast standards instantly - no account required, no limits, no paywall. The web tool also includes a palette viewer and detailed color profiles.

What Vesper Colors does

Enter two colors - a foreground and a background - and Vesper Colors:

Palette Viewer (web)

The web tool includes a palette viewer at vesperapps.com/colors/view/. Build and edit multi-color palettes with up to 24 colors, check WCAG contrast for each color against white, light grey (#efefef), dark grey (#333333), and black, and export as JPG or SVG. Palettes are encoded directly in the URL - no account or storage needed.

Color Profiles (web)

Every color has a dedicated profile page at /colors/view/[hex]. Profiles show color values (HEX, RGB, HSL, CMYK), WCAG contrast results, color blindness simulation, shades, tints, tones, hues, temperatures, and color harmonies.
