Vesper Audit has two tiers: Free and Supporter. Free works immediately on download with no account or time limit. Supporter funds the project and unlocks full-site crawling, all export formats, and advanced settings as a thank-you.

Free tier

The Free tier is available to everyone, indefinitely. No sign-up, no credit card, no expiry. Free includes:

Supporter trial

Every download includes a free 7-day Supporter trial - no credit card required. The trial gives you full access to every Supporter feature so you can evaluate it with your own sites before committing.

To start the trial:

  1. Open Vesper Audit and go to Settings > License & Plan
  2. Click Start free trial
  3. Supporter features unlock immediately for 7 days

When the trial ends, the app reverts to the Free tier. Your scan history, settings, profiles, exclusions, and suppressions are all preserved - nothing is deleted.

Becoming a supporter

Supporter is $99/year and includes 2 seats. A single license can be activated on up to 2 Macs. Becoming a supporter does not trigger a new download - the same app you already have unlocks the full toolkit the moment you activate your license key.

Becoming a supporter will be available at launch - v1.0.0 coming soon.

After signing up, you will receive your license key by email. Keep that email - you will need the key if you ever deactivate and reactivate on a new machine.

Secure checkout
Payments are processed by a PCI-compliant third-party payment provider. Vesper Technologies LLC never handles payment card data directly. A refund policy applies - see the Refund Policy for details.

Activating a license key

  1. Open Vesper Audit and go to Settings > License & Plan
  2. Enter your license key in the Activate license field
  3. Click Activate
  4. Vesper Audit contacts the activation server and unlocks the full toolkit immediately

Activation requires an internet connection. Once activated, the app works fully offline - the license is not re-checked on every launch.

Deactivating a seat

Each Supporter license covers 2 seats. If you want to move your license to a new Mac, you need to deactivate it on the old machine first to free up a seat.

  1. On the machine you are moving away from, go to Settings > License & Plan
  2. Click Deactivate
  3. The seat is released and your license key becomes available to activate on a new machine

Deactivation requires an internet connection. If the old machine is no longer accessible, contact support at vesperapps.com/contact to release the seat manually.

Frequently asked questions

What happens to my reports when my Supporter license expires?

Nothing is deleted. All your scan history, saved profiles, exclusions, and suppressions remain intact. The app returns to Free tier behavior - single page scans only, no exports. You can still open and browse any previously saved .json results file in the in-app viewer at any time.

Can I use one license on two Macs?

Yes. Each Supporter license includes 2 seats, so you can activate it on a personal Mac and a work Mac simultaneously. A third activation requires deactivating one of the existing seats first.

What if I lose my license key?

Check your email for the original confirmation message. If you cannot find it, contact us with the email address you used and we will help recover your key.

Is there a discount for multiple licenses?

Not currently. Each license covers 2 seats which handles most individual and small-team use cases. If you need more seats, contact us.
